It's an okay game, but there's a lot of things that annoy me about it. It's nothing like Sunshine, which I pretty much loved off the bat. Well, the Super Mario has failed to impress. That one? I could pick it up and play and not be frustrated. This one can be infuriating at times.Much like the Zelda game, I'm pretty disappointed.Oh well, back to Animal Crossing and probably some more Smash Bros., although that game has it's own frustrations, just in terms of some of the bizarre things they put onto matches, some of them I'm just like "f**k this".I did manage to unlock every playable character in that game so there's that. But, man, I really wish I had some buddies around to play the game in person, as opposed to online. It really changes things. And I'm still "on call" for my stupid-ass job.Isn't a great way to spend the day, constantly (maybe) hoping you get called in. I really, really wish I had purchased that game as opposed to this (I understand you can get some package of that game, but its out of print, so I couldn't find it at the store closest to me, and I can't order it from Amazon cause my credit is F**KED). Like, I've said it before, I loved Super Mario Sunshine, but this certainly isn't that. Back in the day a Mario game was just something you could pick up and play (remember Mario Bros. Lack of direction or just basic instructions (much like that Zelda game). Well, I've put multiple hours into this M ario game and I'm not impressed. Something like 700 pages or whatever. But I don't care. His other book, "Nixonland", is one of my all-time faves.Nevertheless, I do have to head back in at some point, so I guess that point is now. We'll see what shit I gotta deal with back home.I'll try and play some more of that Mario game and hopefully my opinion will change.

It's a great book, and I'm a giant fan of the author, Rick Perlstein.but it's a tome. But once my Switch was like "low battery", I had to go back to reading the book I'm working on, "Reaganland". Went to the park (I need like a extra battery or some sort of external thing cause the Switch doesn't last that long). But I played enough of this Stardew game to know that it is awesome. Has anyone else played this Stardew Valley game?Roommate was bugging me. It just seems right up my valley.I was somewhat hesitant to purchase, cause I feared it might be too close to Animal Crossing, but I have a feeling I'm going to love this one, and I'm afraid I'll get too addicted.Like, Animal Crossing kind of already has me waking up at 5:00 AM even if I'm not working, just to see what the town has to say and what is new in Nook's store (which, unfortunately is usually nothing), and I'm worried how much of my time this game will take up, but I'm cautiously looking forward to it.And I love the SNES visuals. This game is just totally up my alley, and I can't wait to dive in, but at least, for tonight, I wanna watch more Sopranos before I get addicted to yet another game.I considered buying Hades instead of this, but I looked at some video reviews of Hades, and as super-hyped up they were, that just doesn't seem like my type of game.I'd probably prefer that Pokemon game, but that'll be only if I have funds to spare.I figured that Super Mario was worth it, and when I saw how cheap this game was? I was like, damn.Might as well.Especially if I have to avoid the roommate and go to the park or something. At least I can play this game or Animal Crossing, and wait for his car to leave the driveway. Then? Back home. Stardew Valley.Just started.Named my character and all that.Even though I really didn't even "start" the game, aside from the basics, I'm really looking forward to this one. Not like as disappointed as I was with the Zelda game, but at least this one I thought I could just pick up and play and have fun, but I didn't really feel that way.The first level was fun but I was surprised to kind of wanna just put the controller down and do what I'm doing now (which is rewatching The Sopranos I'm on Season Two already, and only started a couple nights ago).But.I did manage to squeeze in a bit of the other game. I know I'm only on like the second level or something (the sand place, is what they say), but I hope it gets better, cause so far I'm a bit disappointed. This one just feels kind of odd, at this point. 1-3, and especially Super Mario World, but I actually never played Super Mario 64. Like, I may be one of the few, but I loved Super Mario Sunshine (aside from the stupid levels without the jetpack thing, funnily enough).

Odyssey is.interesting so far, but to me, it doesn't even feel like a real Mario game so far.
